Rukgala, our retreat home, is on the shores of the Victoria Lake, an hour’s drive from Kandy.
By Air: Fly into the Sri Lanka main airport, Columbo/Bandaranaike via Deli or Hong Kong. In Sri Lanka: Join the retreat in 2022 at Rukgala retreat home. We will assist participants to book a transfer of choice for arriving to the retreat. All transport expenses to/from the location are the responsibility of participants. Arrive by car: The drive from the Columbo International Airport to the retreat location is 4 hours. The fee is $85 USD each way for up to 2 people in a car or 4 people in a van, with bags . Arrive by train: If already in Colombo you may take the train to Kandy followed by a car or Tuk Tuk onto Rukgala our retreat home The train from Colombo International Airport leaves take 3 hours to reach Kandy. The approximate first class one way fee is $30. Arrive by seaplane: The seaplane from Columbo International airport to the Rukgala's town takes 30 minutes! Participants then take a short Tuk Tuk or car ride to Rukgala! Seaplane seats are booked through Cinnamon Air. The approximate fee is $150 each way. Inquire for booking details. Join
